The retained mandrel adopts oil or water-based liquid (mist) quenching and tempering, which can make the mandrel fully quenched, So that there is no need for heating treatment before resuing. In order to improve the hardness of the mandrel, the mandrel must be polished and plated with hard chromium.After chrome-plated, the retained mandrel should be dehydrogenated to improve the bonding strength between the hard chrome-plated layer and the mandrel, increase the wear resistance of the mandrel, and ensure the service life of the mandrel.
