Description
Pierice mill guide shoe ,also called pierce mill guide plate is the key vulnerable spare part in the production of seamless steel tube. Its quality and service life directly affect the quality of the final product.Piercing mill guide shoes are required to have high temperature resistance, not easy to bond, with wear resistance and thermal cracking resistance.
Guide shoe composition: inlet cone, compression belt, exit cone.
Inlet cone: guide the billet so that the Central Line of the billet is aligned with the Central Line of the piercing .The ellipticity of the billet is restricted to avoid forming the pass so early.Promote the longitudinal extension of the metal.
Exit cone: limit cross deformation of billets, control outer diameter of billets after rolling.
Compression band: reduces the ellipticity of the billet at the beginning of rolling on the top, reduces the axial resistance of the guide plate, and provides piercing speed.
