Pierce mill plug for hot rolling seamless tubes and pipes

Description
We FANGLE GROUP can supply piercing plugs with different material for different steel grade,such carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and bearing steel.We have piercing plugs with material, such as 35CrMo,H13,Molybdenum base plug, 20CrNi4, and so on.
We also can supply plugs with moly inserted , and also water-jet is prefered sometimes.
Usually, piercing plug with Moly inserted has the best performance.The product density and strength are higher, and wear resistance becomes much better. Most importantly the life of the product extends extremely much.

Production process

1. Pre-forging: heat the ingot to 150 ~ 200ºC and forge it for 5 minutes;

2. After pre-forging, heat the ingot temperature to 20 ~ 40ºC lower than its overheating temperature;

3, the round steel insulation in the environment 100ºC lower than its overheating temperature, through die forging into blank;The forging is obtained by deforming the blank with a die.

4, on the blank 680ºC insulation for 8 hours with the furnace cooling to 300ºC before air cooling.

5. Nitriding treatment at 950ºC.
