Product Description

There are two types of rolling rolls for continuous steel tube: forging roll;Nodular cast iron roll.
Forged steel roller has high strength, good toughness, good bite ability and impact resistance, which is mostly used in the front two racks of the large-pass rolling mill, and the other racks adopt nodular cast iron roller.

There are two production processes of nodular cast iron roller: integral casting method (also known as static casting method);Centrifugal compound casting.

Centrifugal compound casting roller is divided into two types according to the working layer material: bainite ball grinding cast iron;Unlimited chilled cast iron.

Roll is composed of roll body, roll neck, shaft head .The roll neck is installed in the bearing, and the rolling force is transmitted to the frame through the bearing seat and the press-down device.The shaft head is connected with the connecting shaft to transfer rolling torque.

The main causes of continuous roll failure are: groove wear, hot cracks on the roller surface, small pieces peeling, bruising and roll fracture.
